Uses and characteristics of PE stretch film

PE wrapping film (heat shrinkable film) is mainly used for the sales and transportation of various products, and its main function is to stabilize, cover and protect products. The shrink film must have high puncture resistance, good shrinkage and certain shrinkage stress. During the shrinking process, the film cannot create holes. Since shrink films are often used outdoors, UV anti-ultraviolet agents need to be added.


PE polyethylene, it is a transparent thermoplastic. There are three types of PE commonly used, namely: LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE. The monomers of the three polyethylenes are the same, but the process conditions used in the synthesis of these polyethylenes are different. Therefore, three different polyethylenes are produced. PE wrapping film is a material with good toughness, which is not easy to be crushed by ordinary plastic crushers. Because the PE film is soft and tough, it is not easy to be chopped, not to mention the high temperature of the tool at high speed, which will melt the LDPE and adhere to the blade. The granulation of PE can be directly put into the feeding port of the extruder in strips, and the PE film is dragged into the barrel by the shear force of the screw to heat, melt, extrude and granulate. The primary material recovered from PE can still be blown film, used for non-food and pharmaceutical packaging, and is also widely used in the production of oxford leather and tarpaulins.


PE heat shrinkable film is widely used in the whole package packaging of wine, cans, mineral water, various beverages, cloth and other products. Tide, shrinkage rate is large.
