Why is stretch film not sticky, and what factors are related to it?

Stretch film is produced using PE as raw material, which is widely used in the packaging of cartons, containers and large products. The stickiness of all stretch wrap films is very important, but why some stretch wrap films are not sticky, and what factors are related to them?

That's because the stretch film you choose is not a good stretch stretch film. It is a brand-new packaging material from the point of view of the high-quality material characteristics. Its material is ultra-thin, strong, transparent, self-adhesive, and low temperature resistant. , Is an ideal packaging material.

It has two types of stickiness: single-sided sticking and double-sided sticking. Stretch film is characterized by good cushioning strength, good puncture and tear resistance, thin thickness, and good performance and price. It has high tensile strength, tear resistance, transparency and good retraction force. The pre-stretching ratio is 400%. It can be assembled, waterproof, dustproof, scattered and anti-theft.

Of course, due to the different types of stretch films, the raw materials produced are different. Some are PVC as the base material, and DOA is the plasticizer and has a self-adhesive effect to produce PVC stretch films. The PE stretch film is made of EVA as the self-adhesive material, and the base material is mainly LLDPE stretch film to produce LLDPE stretch film. This kind of stretch film can develop from a single layer to the current one. Layer, three layers. Therefore, besides the different varieties of stretch films with different substrates as raw materials, their advantages and uses are also different.

The stickiness required by the stretch film must have both good peeling stickiness and good lap stickiness. The higher the peeling viscosity, the less likely the tray is to be loosened, and the better the film’s sealability; the higher the lap viscosity, the less longitudinal displacement of the film is likely to occur. Therefore, to obtain a firm package, the peeling viscosity and overlap of the stretch film are required The viscosity is balanced.

The viscosity of the wrapping film is positively correlated with the amount of PIB added. However, after the addition of PIB exceeds 3%, the improvement of the self-adhesiveness of the stretch film becomes insignificant. If the addition of PIB continues to be increased, PIB will precipitate and become agglomerates on the surface of the film, resulting in uneven self-adhesiveness of the film, and even very large rolls. Difficult to open. In order to ensure the final performance of the stretch film and comprehensively consider the cost of raw materials, the amount of PIB added should be controlled between 1 and 3%.

In order to facilitate production, people have developed a high-concentration PIB tackifying masterbatch for the production of polyethylene winding film. This masterbatch is made by mixing PIB and polyethylene in a certain proportion. It is used in the production of plastic products. The master batches are similar in shape, have good fluidity, and are easy to use.

What are the characteristics of sticky stretch film?
A good stretch film has good electrostatic self-adhesiveness, double adhesion and other excellent characteristics. The goods and the packaging can be closely connected as a whole, and the surface of the goods can be clean and beautiful. This ensures the occurrence of bumps, tilts, and even scattered problems caused by various reasons during the movement and transportation of various goods. It greatly improves the safety of cargo transportation and the loss rate of customers' goods, so that customers can feel at ease during the use period, and bring profits to individuals and enterprises.
